Poplars Primary School

Support

Working in partnership with our families

In collaboration with staff, parents and our community, we have developed a timetable of weekly opportunities to offer support, advice and facilitate wider community interactions to create closer contact with our school community.

We have an open-door policy and love welcoming families to our school. In addition to regular shared learning and community events, we offer the opportunity to see our school in action with a weekly school tour.

We also have weekly drop-in sessions for all things SEND. These sessions will also give the opportunity to find out more about our high-quality school offer.

Parenting support

We provide services that can be accessed at a time and place that suits families to help them to do well, stay safe and resolve problems at the earliest possible opportunity, before they become more serious.

Early Help means taking action to support a child, young person or their family early in the life of a problem or as soon as it emerges.

Help can be required at any stage in a child's life, whether it's from pre-birth to adulthood. It applies equally to safeguarding or complex needs that the family cannot deal with or meet on their own.

Take a look at our Early Help Offer below.
